5 minute Yoga flow for harmony

Mountain Pose (1 minute):

Begin in Mountain Pose at the top of your mat. Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart, arms by your sides, and palms facing forward. Root down through your feet, engaging your thighs, and reach your arms overhead. Take a moment to ground yourself, connecting with the energy of the Root Chakra. Hold for a few breaths.

Forward Fold to Heart Opener (1 minute):

Exhale, hinge at your hips, and fold forward into a Forward Fold. Inhale, lift halfway for a flat back, and exhale, fold again. On your next inhale, rise to standing, extending your arms overhead. Exhale, bring your hands to your heart in a prayer position. Repeat this flow, syncing the movement with your breath, for one minute, focusing on opening the Heart Chakra.

Warrior II to Triangle (1 minute):

Step your left foot back into Warrior II (parallel your left foot with the back of your mat). Bend your right knee directly over your ankle. Inhale, extend your arms parallel to the floor, and gaze over your front fingertips.

Transition into Triangle Pose by straightening your front leg and reaching your right hand down to your shin or the floor, extending your left arm toward the ceiling. Hold for a few breaths, feeling the strength and openness in your heart.

Switch sides: Warrior II to Extended Triangle (1 minute):

Step your right foot back into Warrior II on the other side. Inhale, extend your arms parallel to the floor, and gaze over your front fingertips.

Transition into Triangle Pose by straightening your front leg and reaching your left hand down to your shin or the floor, extending your right arm toward the ceiling. Hold for a few breaths, connecting with the energy of the Heart Chakra.

cool down (1 minute):

Finish in a comfortable seated position. Close your eyes and take a few breaths, bringing your hands to your heart. Express gratitude for this integrated practice of movement and meditation. When you're ready, gently open your eyes and carry the sense of balance and connection with you into the rest of your day.
