Boosting our immune systems is always a priority, because let’s be real, who wants to be sick?! Not me! The tea recipe below is high in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, making it a great choice for boosting your immune system. Ginger and turmeric are natural immune boosters, while lemon and honey add some sweetness and vitamin C. The cinnamon and cloves add a warm, spicy flavor.

Here's my go-to easy recipe for an immune-boosting tea:

Ingredients:

1 inch fresh ginger root, peeled and sliced

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp honey (optional)

1 tsp dried turmeric

1 cinnamon stick

4 whole cloves

4 cups water

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.

  3. Strain and serve hot.
