After practicing yoga, you want to make sure you’re cleaning your mat to make sure no bacterias or germs are staying on your mat. A spray will solve this problem & also leave your mat smelling refreshing for the next time you roll it out for your practice!

Here is a simple recipe for a yoga mat spray to freshen up your yoga mat:

Ingredients:

1 cup water

1/2 cup witch hazel or white vinegar

10-15 drops of essential oils (e.g. tea tree, lavender, lemon)

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle.

  2. Shake well to mix.

  3. Spray evenly over the surface of your yoga mat and let it air dry.

This yoga mat spray helps to clean and freshen your mat, leaving it smelling great and ready for your next yoga practice. The essential oils used can vary based on your personal preferences, but tea tree, lavender, and lemon are great options for their cleansing and refreshing properties. The witch hazel or white vinegar helps to kill any germs or bacteria on the mat.
